Epiphone Wilshire 150th anniversary PB
This Epiphone was released for the company's 150th anniversary, hence its 150th anniversary, but in fact it is a reissue of one of the first original models created after the brand was acquired by Gibson in the early sixties. The guitar is incredibly light and very comfortable, with its body and neck both made out of mahogany. The pickups are Gibson mini-humbuckers made in the United States, they deliver a particularly incisive sound. The tones are sharp and chiseled, and can also be quite soft if you control the attack! Nevertheless, the sustain remains quite impressive. The output power of the pickups is average, there is enough to saturate, but it remains more bluesy than hard. It is truly a one of a kind guitar in the musical world, a guitar with a very strong personality. It was made in China in 2022 but sold in 2023, because of the anniversary !
